The 1000 LPH Reverse Osmosis Plants unique feature of Reverse Osmosis (R.O.) Technology is that it can remove all TDS content in water to very safe levels besides bacteria & virus, resulting in perfect quality drinking water at par with national & International Standards. Water thus processed is also aesthetically appealing in appearance & taste. Reverse Osmosis (R.O.) technology is currently considered the best available technology for drinking water purification. It is recognized worldwide as the most effective method of water purification by which raw water is transformed from impure to safe, hygienic & pure drinking water.
This method removes all harmful contaminants without the use of any chemicals. Water is physically forced through semi-permiable membrane of pore size 0.0001 micron and impurities are flushed out to drain. The process works by forcing water under great pressure against a semipermeable membrane, where ion exclusionoccurs. With ion exclusion, water molecules form a barrier that allows other water molecules to pass through while excluding most contaminants. Typical contaminant rejection rates range from 85% to greater than 95% and a liter of highly treated water can usually be produced from two to four liters of water depending on the initial quality of water.RO plants are much easier to operate than other plants for the same application (e.g.DM Plant). RO plant does not require daily regeneration with highly corrosive chemicals like hydrochloric acid (HCl) & Caustic soda (NaOH).
